Tea and Ruffles

If you’re ever at my house, it’ll likely be for a tea party. Seriously. I’m a homebody and don’t do a ton of hosting, but when I do, I really like making a tea party out of it.

If high-tea could be a regular part of my schedule, I don’t know what more I could ask for (apart from a baby – sorry, couldn’t help it).

As I mentioned in “My Story,” I love so much about England. Tea time is at the top of the list, though.

In these photos, I limited myself to the actual beverage, rather than splurging on treats and finger foods to go with it. No worries, though! This PG Tips tea is my favorite, and perfect all on its own.

I would be remiss if I failed to mention this amazing sweater. I love the loose neck and ruffled sleeves. The sweater is pretty long, as well, and looks super cute with black leggings and some Hunter boots. Or, if you’re just lounging around the house, you could go sans pants altogether (gasp)!

Notice my little one peaking her head out to see what I’m up to? Luna Bear loves her some people food!

The book I’m reading (I am actually reading it!) is Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. So good! Really great insight into the days of foot binding in China. Fascinating to learn about standards of beauty throughout history and cultures.

I'd love to hear from you!
